GETTING HERE

Scenic World is located at on the corner of Violet Street & Cliff Drive, Katoomba in Australia’s World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains.

Less than two hours travel time by car or Sydney Trains’ Blue Mountains line, we are situated approximately 100 kilometres from Sydney, and only 3 kilometres from Katoomba’s village centre and railway station. From Katoomba, visitors can hop on the Blue Mountains Explorer bus and disembark at Scenic World main building. Alternatively, we have ample, free car parking on site.

Where can I buy tickets to the event?

You can purchase your Scenic World tickets online here. We highly encourage purchasing tickets online ahead of time. You can arrive onsite and purchase tickets subject to availability.

Is the event all ages?

Yes – the event is an all ages event. Kids and adults can enjoy the animatronic dinosaurs from the elevated boardwalk (walkway). There are also free events during the day where adults and kids can meet a dinosaur and learn a few fun facts as well as pat and take photos with a baby dinosaur.

Is access to the event included as part of the Scenic World ticket?

Yes – The event is part of your Scenic World ticket.

Are the dinosaurs scary?

Our dinosaurs are animatronic. There are no authentic fossils or live creatures at the exhibit.

Is the event pram, stroller and wheelchair friendly?

The event is pram and stroller friendly provided you go both ways by the Cableway as our Railway is not pram/stroller/wheelchair friendly.
